Questions about an all-round DJ
How much does a DJ for a party cost?
A DJ without equipment costs from € 400, a complete DJ show with sound and light from € 650 and a DJ show with a big light show from € 975. Prices include 9% VAT, for 4 hours of music. Travel costs are calculated in the quote.
Can you arrange a DJ at the last minute?
Yes, almost always. Besides the DJs on our site, we have a large network of experienced DJs. That means we can often still arrange a DJ at the last minute and on busy dates. Check your date in the planner and you will quickly know.
How long does the DJ play?
Most DJs play an average of 4 hours per evening. Longer is possible; every extra hour costs 100 euros excl. VAT (109 euros incl. 9% VAT).
Does every DJ take requests?
Many DJs play requests, but the DJ may not have every requested song with them. If you'd like to hear a specific song, let us know well before the party. Some DJs don't play requests, so if this is important to you, we're happy to help make your wishes come true.
When does the DJ arrive, and how long does set-up take?
The DJ arrives 30 minutes before the start as standard. Earlier is usually no problem by arrangement. Setting up a DJ show takes 30 to 60 minutes on average.
DJ with or without lights and sound?
Every DJ needs light and sound, that's right! Sometimes the venue already has light and sound, sometimes not. In that case the DJ brings it. Make sure you don't pay twice by renting things the venue already has. Not sure? Choose "Tailored advice" in the planner and we'll check with the venue.
What if the DJ falls ill?
Then we arrange a replacement DJ. So there's always music at your party.
